Civil War scrapbook. 1861-1866.

Civil War scrapbook of newspaper articles from the New York Herald and Baltimore American covering the period of 1861-1866, believed to have been compiled by Annie Bidwell's father Joseph C.G. Kennedy. Included in the scrapbook is a handwritten note from Horace Greeley, editor of the Tribune to J.C.G. Kennedy, dated May 1865. Also two Confederate monetary notes, and a 15 cent note for payment of taxes to the City of Charleston signed by Albert Talriman, June 1862.
